The Sun. Paris: Black Sun Press, 1929. (x), (32), (vi)pp. One of 100 copies. With an illustration from a drawing by Caresse Crosby. One of the rarest books from the Press, and, apart from a Rubaiyat that is only known in Queen Mary's Dolls' House, the only miniature book Crosby produced. His text is a paean to the sun, which is fitting, given his Icarus-like biography. Bound in brown morocco with gilt sun device and scroll border on upper and lower covers; nine gilt stars on spine. Very fine. (Minkoff A-24). (1 x 3/4 in; 2.5 x 1.9 cm).
