DRAME HISTORIQUE EN CINQ ACTES ET SIX TABLEAUX. 1914, unpublished manuscript, small 4to, pp255, rectos only, each page headed by a gold crest featuring a pair of facing gryphons holding a shield mounted by a crown, above the motto “Suum cunque”, bound in full burgundy morocco, ornate gilt borders with corner floral designs, the gilt crest repeated centrally, spearhead turn-ins, spine ruled in gilt, all edges gilt, silk endpapers. Blind stamp monogram with heraldic coat of arms.
“Pièce commençée en Normandie en 1898; Terminée à Londres en 1914.” Manuscript dedication “A SA MAJESTÉ, MANUEL II, ROI DE PORTUGAL. L.de V.”
