One of 680 copies numbered in Arabic numerals (total edition: 740). The Flemish Book of Hours of Mary de' Medici was created between 1515 and 1520 in Ghent or Bruges; the illuminator is known only as the "Master of the David Scenes in the Grimani Breviary." A distinctive feature of this Book of Hours is the superbly rendered perspective in the pictorial spaces of the miniatures. – In near-mint condition.
