La divina commedia die Dante. Milano, Ulrico Hoepli. (1878) Belonging to an edition of 1000 copies, with the typeface of the Salmin brothers. Ulrico Hoepli published this edition by purchasing the sheets of the “Dantino” made by Fratelli Salmin and giving the prints a second run with his own typographical data on the title page. His microscopic edition of the Divine Comedy is one of the smallest books printed with movable type. It remains a bibliographical curiosity to this day. A beautiful and flawless copy.
