Second edition of Theodor Herzl’s (1860–1904) landmark Zionist Manifesto, published in the same year as the first edition. The text was translated into Hebrew, English, French, Russian, and Romanian that same year and went through a total of over 80 editions in 18 languages. – Encyclopaedia Judaica 8, 410f. – Former library copy from a kibbutz, title and contents with several stamps. Additional ms. ownership entries on title page and last blank page. Title page slightly stained. Inside slightly discolored in places and with a few pencil markings in the text. Pp. 71–78 with a small tear and staines on upper edge.
