373) Miscellaneous manuscript Illuminated manuscript on paper in Latin, Germany, late 15th century. Sheet size approximately 210 x 142 mm, writing space approximately 148 x 90 mm. Ink ruling. Text in Gothic script on a single column of 19/20 lines. Composed of 38 leaves, the first and last blank, complete. The decoration includes some alternating red or blue initials with contrasting penworks and other, smaller ones in red or blue. Contemporary leather binding with blindstamped decorations, spine remaked. Browning and water stains but, overall good condition of conservation. Collation: i14; ii10; iii14. Text: C.2: Nicholas of Dinkelsbuehl. Casus Missae. On folio 7v glued half sheet with a prayer. C.9v: Modus offerendi;C.11 Prefatio pro defunctis, With musical notation on tetragrammaton in brown ink. 4. Officium in agendis mortuorum. Nicholas Prutzlein called Nicholas di Dinkelsbuehl (Dinkelsbühl 1360 ca. - Vienna 1433) was a theologian and rector of the University of Vienna. He participated as an important member in the Council of Constance in 1414.
