Front cover with the upper outer corner torn, rear cover with some foxing. Tear at top of front hinge. First 84 pages printed on slightly blue-tinted paper. Some foxing on the first twelve and last six pages. Crease in pp. 129-30. Nice copy from Elghammar.
Bibliotheca Walleriana 5847. Garrison-Morton 1993 4478.1044: ”the foundation of modern gymnastics and therapeutic massage”. Hagelin Kinetic jottings pp. 146-48, noting that the books was printed in 1000 copies. The first 84 pages printed in 1834. The rest was published posthumously by Ling’s pupils P. J. Liedbeck and C. A. Georgii.
