(7,1 blank),292 pp. Contemporary grey paper wrappers. The spine has tears, and the front cover is almost detached, with a small paper loss. The title page is foxed. Occasional spots elsewhere, but more faint foxing on pp. 150–161 and the final page. Small marginal tear on pp. 1–2, and a minimal ink stain on p. 171.

The book collection is described on page 1-271. The collection of surgical and anatomical instruments is described from page 272 and onwards. This is the first catalogue of the library of the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. It was compiled by the Linnaean disciple Anders Johan Hagströmer (1753–1830), after whom the modern Hagströmer Library is named; the library houses the Karolinska Institute’s older collections of manuscripts and books.
