EUR 55000,- Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi was a French sculptor and painter. He is best known for designing Liberty Enlightening the World, commonly known as the Statue of Liberty. The photos in this album, taken during a travel in 1855-6, are among the first known sets of photos of Egypt. From the library of Egyptologist Charles Van Siclen III.
